Glad Man

Glad to hear from you Mike!

I'm certainly not an expert (yet) on making money on the internet. I think because the internet is SOOOOOOOOOO big and there is so much involved in using the internet (especially if you do it all yourself - I have so far)that the most important thing YOU MUST DO is wrap your brain around WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

I believe that I've wrapped my mind around WHAT the internet is for and how that will translate into gold.

In regards to internet marketing - the intention that seems to have the most powerful impact is this: "I use the internet to develop a relationship with the world" That might sound fluffy and feel-good, etc - but that seems to be the underlying theme of all the models of success that each of us share and perhaps some that we don't.

Suzanne and I are in a Master Mind and it's very intense. We only meet twice a month and the people in it drive from another city to Austin just to come. I've found this HUGELY valuable to increase the speed at which I master using the internet to develop a relationship with the world that translates into gold.

There is a google feature called Google Analytics that allows me to track my traffic to my site. People from Russia, Eastern Europe, Australia, all over Western Europe and all over the US have come to visit my site. Each day I go check out the traffic pattern and I keep doing what seems to work and try something new each day!

Creating websites and developing products isn't a reason to quit your day job. Developing a relationship with the world and allowing that relationship to becoming profitable is. Where are each of you in your Developing Relationships with The World?

That just means we're busy putting the real sites together, Right?

I've been interacting with a variety of people offline and online to determine the best way to put my site together... I'm learning, and that's a good thing, but it's not making me any money!

I'm home from my time in DC. Planning a move to Colorado in a few months while working on the business.

Appreciate you all.

Haven't seen an activity here for a while so I'm probably going to shut it down in a week or so. Object now or forever hold your peace.

Squeeze Page Revisited

Hey Amy!

Here is the scoop I got from Aweber this morning:

Bruce: If I sign up for your service does it include html code for squeeze pages? Confirmation Pages?

You are now speaking with Steve Archer of Customer Service.

Bruce: Morning Steve

Steve Archer: Bruce, Welcome to Live Support.

Steve Archer: Yes, when you create a webform, it will give you the html to copy and paste to the body of your website

Bruce: Confirmation page as well?

Steve Archer: Well, the thank you page for the webform is a default thank you page unless you create a thank you page of your own and put in the url for it

Bruce: excellent - I appreciate your time

Steve Archer: sure

***end of chat***

If we are using the word to mean the same thing then Aweber provides you with html for a Squeeze page.

Bruce's definition of Squeeze Page: A squeeze page is one page of your website that follows some basic rules of marketing 1)No links to take you away from the actual page 2)Sales Letter 3)"enter your info here" (The Squeeze) box.

You said (asked)...

"What I'm wondering is which service/product is best for creating and hosting the actually squeeze pages.... does anyone have any input on this?"

A squeeze page is like any other page of your website. Hosting would be whoever hosts your websites now (let me check on that...) so One And One is your hosting service for www.MomsEmpoweringMoms.com .

I personally use Dotster.com and am quite happy with them. The html code is generated by Aweber then you copy paste it into Front Page (if you are doing-it-yourself). Then you tweak the design to your fancy and upload it (publish it if you are using the Front page features - I use FTP instead).

I suspect that you and I are referring to two different things when we use the words Squeeze Page.

How do YOU Squeeze????

Thanks so much for all of this! I already use AWeber.... they are great for autoresponder stuff... but you can't create a squeeze page there, just the forms where people can sign up for your newsletter, etc. What I'm wondering is which service/product is best for creating and hosting the actually squeeze pages.... does anyone have any input on this?

Thanks so much!!

Love,

Amy

Squeeze Page Glad You Asked!

My products are not ready to launch so the pressure for me to produce this result may not be the same for each of you. I've been fumbling around in the dark for a few weeks now however on this topic. Great to hear from you again by-the-way Amy! (Bruce Waves).

I've been receiving some private coaching from one of the members of Joe's Master Mind group and here is what he or she says on Squeeze pages - Best to hire a professional service IF YOU ARE READY to start selling products. He-She recommends Aweber and I have it from a good source that that is all that Joe uses himself. It's about $20 a month. They handle everything - opt in, double opt-in, opt out, etc.

I've found a squeeze page page-generator and will give the link at the end here - BUT the downside to this is that lets say you use a do-it-yourself Squeeze Page (track your own emails, track all the opt ins and opt outs, etc)then when your business gets big enough to let someone else (Aweber) handle it - the pre-Aweber people would have to "join" again because you cannot import names from a different list.

The reason for this is - that Aweber has a great reputation for following all the laws that revolve around Can Spam resulting in not being "filtered out" by various ISPs junk rejection services.

Hope that helps. In regards to do-it-yourself http://www.nichelistbuilder.com/nlb-software.zip this product will let you generate a squeeze page and it will track a first-time opt in on it's website when you create a free account. It sends you and the new customer an email once they sign up - thus far I've not found a double-opt-in that relates to it (thus it's useless). You can see an example of it (currently using it on my newest site) http://www.negotiate2yourownbestgood.com.

I love hearing from each of you!

Marketing through Proximity

Hello again my Gods and Goddesses of Fulfillment!

This woman http://www.kstp.com/article/stories/S38594.shtml sat right next to me at Unseminar 3 most of the weekend. Mike, I had to ask myself (a resourceful question)if her thing and your thing might be able to overlap and create reciprocal support.

I'd like to hear from each of you of course. I enjoy each of you very much.

New Webisite

Greetings my Lovlies!

Suzanne and I have a local Master Mind group that we formed after the Unseminar 3 weekend. I'm sure we break a few rules but OMG we love what we are developing with our Master Mind Mates. Keeping it to two hours for the four of us is like a Mad TV skit. Yesterday we all arrived at our (secret) Master Mind Location around 4pm and as I was the last one to have a "turn" we finished Master Minding around 1 am. One of the ideas I got from my local Master Mind group was to acquire a website that says "Negotiate" a little stronger than my current www.yourownbestgood.com so, I created the very different and unpredictable
www.negotiate2yourownbestgood.com. This will be were I actually put a squeeze page for my Negotiation products. The first website will probably end up being my Portal Page.

If any of you are not currently IN a Master Mind group - I highly recommend forming and joining. That's all for now - Suzanne and I went out and bought some new Mics to help speed along the creation of my audio products and I'm like a kid at christmas wanting to try them out.

Love, Peace and Prosperity to you All

Bruce

Hear the Techie Shiver

Suzanne and I did yet another event the weekend after Unseminar 3 with Joe, Pat, Bill and Mark. If that wasn't enough name dropping how about Depak Chopra? Anyway - we attracted the largest DLP (how it's marketed) Big Screen TV in the world just a few hours before the World Wellness Weened kicked off (that's a blog post in itself). Last night I built a PC and hooked it up to my Big Screen. OMG - even blind people could see the screen now. Suzanne and I have an internet service that allows us to watch movies (Vongo) and now we can connect TV and PC together on my in-home wired/wireless network. Interestingly enough there is a niche market for people who do PC-Big Screen TV. I found some photos that had 6000 pixels in them - the quality of the definition was so fantastic and so huge that they wouldn't fit on my Big Screen.

I've updated my website with some more features in them - I think all the links go to something now and I added some more audio (one more clip). Creating an hour long audio product isn't an hours worth of work I discovered. You are welcome to visit my site at http://www.yourownbestgood.com .

One of the things I was challenged in doing with my yourownbestgood.com blog was getting it to point at my own website. I had www.yourownbestgood.blogspot.com (blogspot being the homepage of that) and I was finally able to figure out how to point http://www.blog.yourownbestgood.com at the blogger website. I keep hearing "wordpress" in regards to blogs. I'm still a blogging newbie (sounds like british potty mouth)so for now I will attempt to fall in love with Blogger

I Had An Idea!

One of those ideas where you start to grin with a smile that stretches from ear to ear...

One of those ideas that's so good that it's scary...

One of those ideas that could shift everything in my life...

More importantly, one of those ideas that could touch the lives of thousands.

With a PT Barnum Twist...

Of course, I'll need some help to pull it off...

Anyone want to go on a little trip?

A Loving Day

I had a day filled with love. A friend sent me a link to a video which touched me.
Maybe you've seen it, but I hadn't. I was inspired with yet another idea and bought a few domain names.

I'm excited about the future and working more with you. Keep on keeping on...

I Had A Party

Tonight, I had a party...

A surprise party...

A surprise going away party!

I invited friends over to celebrate the fact that I'll be leaving my current position at the end of the month. I plan to pursue employment elsewhere, yes, but I also intend to put a lot of effort into getting the Reintegration Program up and running to help those military members suffering from the effects of war.

The more I look into it, the more PTSD and other anxiety disorders or stress related issues pop up. It's a problem that will need work over the long term. Time for me to get more work done.

Abundance Just Is

Hi everyone!

Bruce, I just read your post.... INCREDIBLE. This is exactly what my week has been like. I mean, I've been learning (w/ some help from my coaches) to give up trying to control everything and to just TRUST. This is NOT easy for me..... I have it that I have to be in constant MASSIVE action in order to get where I want to go. This has caused me to be running around like a crazy person w/ no time for family, exercise, or the other things that are important to me in my life. My coaches helped (forced!) me to create a schedule, w/ downtime and days off (what a concept). They told me I would actually be more productive this way. I have to say, I didn't really believe them, but I took the coaching nonetheless. The result: my business has grown more in the last few days than it had in the last 2 months!

I have to just keep reminding myself that abundance just is. It has nothing to do w/ me.

Here's one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite books (Busting Loose From The Money Game by Robert Scheinfeld):

"Opening to your Infinite Abundance means letting go of thoughts and concerns about how you will receive it or how you must act to receive it."

Big love and hugs to you all,

Amy

Local Mastermind

Hello my lovlies! Friday is my first local Mastermind Meeting. After the meeting we are playing a Prosperity Games by Chris Sherrod - I think his website is www.theprosperityguy.com (don't quote me). I've had an interesting week so far. I keep putting off my audio products - I'm ready to create them but I allow myself to be distracted. I'm being reminded of the lessons about "trying". Don't try, just do. Life is so much smoother when we intend and attract than when we push and pull and blugeon our reality into place.

Not much else to share at the moment. Be Perfect.

Wellness Weekend

Just back from World Wellness Weekend with Pat O'Bryan, Joe Vitale, Bill Hibbler, Mark Ryan, Suzanne, Craig and Aimee Perrine, Taye was there and some others I'm sure I'm missing. Joe spoke and filled the room up to standing-room only. The convention center workers were having to shoo people out of the doors that couldn't fit into the room.

Saturday night we all saw Depak Chopra speak for nearly 3 hours. I think there were 5000 people in attendance (don't quote me).

So for those of you who have settled back into your lives at home from last weekend's seminar - just remember - I started re-seminaring (just made up that word) on Thursday for this weekend (just passed)and have been away from my bed and pc for another 3-4 days. Suzanne is in the next room with some local friends she made at The World Wellness Weekend trying to push for day 5 ;).

Developed a new client over the weekend - quite a surprise in many ways - will share more as I have the time.

Love and Prosperity to you all

Bruce

I Did The Splits!

Well, at least I figured out how to set up split testing and some ad tracking using both Google analytics and the shopping cart program that I'm using, Marketer's Choice .

I'm glad that I was able to blog something every single day at Reintegrationprogram.com. I was also able to give support to my wife in a time of need.

She appreciated it, and I was also able to spend some time with the kids.
I've looked at most of your websites, and it seems we're all headed in the right direction.

Keep sending feedback and comments. Bruce did an edit on one of my pages and now I've got it split testing to see if it gets a better response.

All The Best!

What a help! and What a day.

Bruce gave me some great suggestions by email, and I'll probably integrate most of them... I'm hoping to figure out how to split test in the next couple of days...

Had a problem back on the home front today, so I took a few days off and flew home.

You could find this post on https://reintegrationprogram.blogspot.com

Three this year.

It's happened again.
Another one of my friends has passed away, probably by her own choice.

I've lost three friends in the last 12 months.

While that is sad for them and for me, I feel worse for their families who have to adjust to living without a father or a mother.

Trauma, Stress, and Hopelessness helped propel my friends to an early end.

I mourn their loss. I was living hundreds of miles away from each of them, and while I knew that they were under stress, I didn't think they would hurt themselves. Suicide is a choice that hurts the ones around you.

If you ever think of committing suicide, Don't do it! Call for help and let someone know what you're thinking. Get the help you need.

The program is designed to help people heal from stress, trauma, anxiety and hopelessness.

Stick around, it's worth the wait.

Quick and Dirty

I wanted to have something up and running tonight so I made a quick-and-dirty web page for my new domain www.yourownbestgood.com . Tomorrow I'll begin to create the first product - Volume I. I thank all of you for sharing your own journey at Pat's seminar - your stories and knowledge were a great inspiration to me.

Moving with a Purpose!

Wow, what an experience!

I had a great time, meeting wonderful people and being able to spend time with the folks who have been making it happen. I'm inspired to work harder to be who I am and to help others.

I especially thank Tina and Mark for the help they gave me to overcome some of my internal barriers to success. I'm still "working for the man" tomorrow, but I believe it's only temporary.

Bruce, Amy, and Mathes, I appreciate your insights also. I am typically available on the phone from about 6 pm est until 11 est. Feel free to call. We could schedule a conference sometime if we like.

The goal is to reach thousands of people who need help out there. The good news is that the need is well documented and there is even a little competition. The competition really seems to be limited to a few groups running seminars for relatively small groups. Helpful as it may be to those who attend, the fact is that thousands upon thousands will be unable to...

The even better news is that we can help them. Starting with a complimentary product, we'll build a big list and offer them additional help along the way.

Thanks for all of your help!

Follow Up Follow Up

Hi Tina, Mark, Amy, Mike and Mathes!

It's Monday late morning AND OH it feels good to sleep in my own bed again. I stayed at my sister-in-laws near the Hotel this weekend and slept on the couch 2 nights in a row.

Since we last Master Minded - I've bought a domain www.yourownbestgood.com and of course the blog that Bill Hibler created for me is www.radiojosbtexas.blogspot.com. I've also created a blog www.yourownbestgood.blogspot.com. The yourownbestgood sites are for launching my internet products. I had the great fortune of talking to Joe Vitale of www.mrfire.com yesterday near the end of Pat's Seminar. He gave me some professional advice about how to create and sell my first internet products. I worked until I feel asleep in my chair last night and then I got up this morning and have been working non-stop since. Looks like I'll be taking a break at lunchtime to go hook up with Craig and Aimee Perrine www.maverickmarketer.com and www.aimeeperrine.com respectively, Andy and Amy Grant www.newsuccess.org (not sure what Andy's is)for some Sushi at our favorite Sushi restaurant http://sushisakeaustin.com/. There food is far tastier than their website.

In regards to a profitable opportunity in Radio, I've received an email from Amy Starr already this morning on a sample of The Brooklyn Kid who does a video show out of his home - not my style (his style) but I appreciated the heads up and to SEE that someone else is doing this. I must admit that I have some much to process since the Seminar is over that I don't really have anything else significant to say at the moment about Bruce-in-Radio.

I enjoyed meeting each of you and Suzanne and I were quite flattered that Mathes stayed at our house the night before the Seminar. Tina - I'm still very very interested in asking you lots of questions in regards to your gift. Mark, I'd like to know more about how my resources and I could help you so that you can keep creating and not slow down to fill out all those damned forms! Mike, if you are open to it, I think I am in a unique position to assist your vision (I too suffer from PTSD though it wasn't military related). Anything I can do to contribute to the healing of the men and women who stand between us and all that pain - I'd be glad to do.

I look foward to each of your own blog enteries!
