Squeeze Page Revisited

Hey Amy!

Here is the scoop I got from Aweber this morning:

Bruce: If I sign up for your service does it include html code for squeeze pages? Confirmation Pages?

You are now speaking with Steve Archer of Customer Service.

Bruce: Morning Steve

Steve Archer: Bruce, Welcome to Live Support.

Steve Archer: Yes, when you create a webform, it will give you the html to copy and paste to the body of your website

Bruce: Confirmation page as well?

Steve Archer: Well, the thank you page for the webform is a default thank you page unless you create a thank you page of your own and put in the url for it

Bruce: excellent - I appreciate your time

Steve Archer: sure

***end of chat***

If we are using the word to mean the same thing then Aweber provides you with html for a Squeeze page.

Bruce's definition of Squeeze Page: A squeeze page is one page of your website that follows some basic rules of marketing 1)No links to take you away from the actual page 2)Sales Letter 3)"enter your info here" (The Squeeze) box.

You said (asked)...

"What I'm wondering is which service/product is best for creating and hosting the actually squeeze pages.... does anyone have any input on this?"

A squeeze page is like any other page of your website. Hosting would be whoever hosts your websites now (let me check on that...) so One And One is your hosting service for www.MomsEmpoweringMoms.com .

I personally use Dotster.com and am quite happy with them. The html code is generated by Aweber then you copy paste it into Front Page (if you are doing-it-yourself). Then you tweak the design to your fancy and upload it (publish it if you are using the Front page features - I use FTP instead).

I suspect that you and I are referring to two different things when we use the words Squeeze Page.

How do YOU Squeeze????

Thanks so much for all of this! I already use AWeber.... they are great for autoresponder stuff... but you can't create a squeeze page there, just the forms where people can sign up for your newsletter, etc. What I'm wondering is which service/product is best for creating and hosting the actually squeeze pages.... does anyone have any input on this?

Thanks so much!!

Love,

Amy

Squeeze Page Glad You Asked!

My products are not ready to launch so the pressure for me to produce this result may not be the same for each of you. I've been fumbling around in the dark for a few weeks now however on this topic. Great to hear from you again by-the-way Amy! (Bruce Waves).

I've been receiving some private coaching from one of the members of Joe's Master Mind group and here is what he or she says on Squeeze pages - Best to hire a professional service IF YOU ARE READY to start selling products. He-She recommends Aweber and I have it from a good source that that is all that Joe uses himself. It's about $20 a month. They handle everything - opt in, double opt-in, opt out, etc.

I've found a squeeze page page-generator and will give the link at the end here - BUT the downside to this is that lets say you use a do-it-yourself Squeeze Page (track your own emails, track all the opt ins and opt outs, etc)then when your business gets big enough to let someone else (Aweber) handle it - the pre-Aweber people would have to "join" again because you cannot import names from a different list.

The reason for this is - that Aweber has a great reputation for following all the laws that revolve around Can Spam resulting in not being "filtered out" by various ISPs junk rejection services.

Hope that helps. In regards to do-it-yourself http://www.nichelistbuilder.com/nlb-software.zip this product will let you generate a squeeze page and it will track a first-time opt in on it's website when you create a free account. It sends you and the new customer an email once they sign up - thus far I've not found a double-opt-in that relates to it (thus it's useless). You can see an example of it (currently using it on my newest site) http://www.negotiate2yourownbestgood.com.

I love hearing from each of you!

Marketing through Proximity

Hello again my Gods and Goddesses of Fulfillment!

This woman http://www.kstp.com/article/stories/S38594.shtml sat right next to me at Unseminar 3 most of the weekend. Mike, I had to ask myself (a resourceful question)if her thing and your thing might be able to overlap and create reciprocal support.

I'd like to hear from each of you of course. I enjoy each of you very much.

New Webisite

Greetings my Lovlies!

Suzanne and I have a local Master Mind group that we formed after the Unseminar 3 weekend. I'm sure we break a few rules but OMG we love what we are developing with our Master Mind Mates. Keeping it to two hours for the four of us is like a Mad TV skit. Yesterday we all arrived at our (secret) Master Mind Location around 4pm and as I was the last one to have a "turn" we finished Master Minding around 1 am. One of the ideas I got from my local Master Mind group was to acquire a website that says "Negotiate" a little stronger than my current www.yourownbestgood.com so, I created the very different and unpredictable
www.negotiate2yourownbestgood.com. This will be were I actually put a squeeze page for my Negotiation products. The first website will probably end up being my Portal Page.

If any of you are not currently IN a Master Mind group - I highly recommend forming and joining. That's all for now - Suzanne and I went out and bought some new Mics to help speed along the creation of my audio products and I'm like a kid at christmas wanting to try them out.

Love, Peace and Prosperity to you All

Bruce

Hear the Techie Shiver

Suzanne and I did yet another event the weekend after Unseminar 3 with Joe, Pat, Bill and Mark. If that wasn't enough name dropping how about Depak Chopra? Anyway - we attracted the largest DLP (how it's marketed) Big Screen TV in the world just a few hours before the World Wellness Weened kicked off (that's a blog post in itself). Last night I built a PC and hooked it up to my Big Screen. OMG - even blind people could see the screen now. Suzanne and I have an internet service that allows us to watch movies (Vongo) and now we can connect TV and PC together on my in-home wired/wireless network. Interestingly enough there is a niche market for people who do PC-Big Screen TV. I found some photos that had 6000 pixels in them - the quality of the definition was so fantastic and so huge that they wouldn't fit on my Big Screen.

I've updated my website with some more features in them - I think all the links go to something now and I added some more audio (one more clip). Creating an hour long audio product isn't an hours worth of work I discovered. You are welcome to visit my site at http://www.yourownbestgood.com .

One of the things I was challenged in doing with my yourownbestgood.com blog was getting it to point at my own website. I had www.yourownbestgood.blogspot.com (blogspot being the homepage of that) and I was finally able to figure out how to point http://www.blog.yourownbestgood.com at the blogger website. I keep hearing "wordpress" in regards to blogs. I'm still a blogging newbie (sounds like british potty mouth)so for now I will attempt to fall in love with Blogger

I Had An Idea!

One of those ideas where you start to grin with a smile that stretches from ear to ear...

One of those ideas that's so good that it's scary...

One of those ideas that could shift everything in my life...

More importantly, one of those ideas that could touch the lives of thousands.

With a PT Barnum Twist...

Of course, I'll need some help to pull it off...

Anyone want to go on a little trip?

A Loving Day

I had a day filled with love. A friend sent me a link to a video which touched me.
Maybe you've seen it, but I hadn't. I was inspired with yet another idea and bought a few domain names.

I'm excited about the future and working more with you. Keep on keeping on...

Mike

I Had A Party

Tonight, I had a party...

A surprise party...

A surprise going away party!

I invited friends over to celebrate the fact that I'll be leaving my current position at the end of the month. I plan to pursue employment elsewhere, yes, but I also intend to put a lot of effort into getting the Reintegration Program up and running to help those military members suffering from the effects of war.

The more I look into it, the more PTSD and other anxiety disorders or stress related issues pop up. It's a problem that will need work over the long term. Time for me to get more work done.

Abundance Just Is

Hi everyone!

Bruce, I just read your post.... INCREDIBLE. This is exactly what my week has been like. I mean, I've been learning (w/ some help from my coaches) to give up trying to control everything and to just TRUST. This is NOT easy for me..... I have it that I have to be in constant MASSIVE action in order to get where I want to go. This has caused me to be running around like a crazy person w/ no time for family, exercise, or the other things that are important to me in my life. My coaches helped (forced!) me to create a schedule, w/ downtime and days off (what a concept). They told me I would actually be more productive this way. I have to say, I didn't really believe them, but I took the coaching nonetheless. The result: my business has grown more in the last few days than it had in the last 2 months!

I have to just keep reminding myself that abundance just is. It has nothing to do w/ me.

Here's one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite books (Busting Loose From The Money Game by Robert Scheinfeld):

"Opening to your Infinite Abundance means letting go of thoughts and concerns about how you will receive it or how you must act to receive it."

Big love and hugs to you all,

Amy
